This recipe is very similar to our power Balls, but this recipe contains protein powder. When looking for a snack it’s sometime hard for me to find one that contains enough protein to keep me full until my next meal. So I decided to experiment with adding my own protein powder blend to my snack balls and wow, what a difference it makes.
Simple White Smoothie that pairs perfectly
Protein Snack Balls Ingredients
Balls:
1 cup walnuts
¾ cup dates
¼ cup cacao
2 Tbsp. cacao nibs
2 Tbsp. flax seeds
2 Tbsp. chia seeds
¼ cup goji berries
½ a cup, coconut flakes
¼ cup protein powder
Toppings:
2 Tbsp. Hemp Seeds
2 Tbsp. Cacao nibs
Directions:
Place walnuts in a food processor and gently process. Then add remaining ball ingredients, blend until mixture sticks together. Roll mixture into small balls and then roll around a mixture of hemp and cacao nibs. Store balls in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
