This bean tip comes together in a flash and is perfect a weekend football party or backyard event. It’s loaded with plant-based fiber, protein and B vitamins making it a filling snack. Serve with organic tortilla chips of your favorite crackers.


2 cans of refried beans
2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
1 jar of salsa (or homemade)
2 avocados
1 tomato
½ cup of cilantro
1 can of black or green olives
4 drops of lime essential oil
2 cloves of garlic
Sea salt to taste


Chop, cilantro, tomatoes, and olives and set aside. Next cut open avocados and mash with back of fork. Mince garlic and add garlic, ¼ cup cilantro, essential oil and a little salt to mashed avocados (making it guacamole) and set aside. Next get a large bowl and layer: Beans first, then nutritional yeast, then salsa, then guacamole, then remaining cilantro, tomatoes and olives. Serve right away with chips.
